Bitcoin may face downside pressure after the Federal Open Market Committee meeting, crypto analyst Ali Martinez said.
Martinez said BTC whales recently took about $156 million in profits, while holdings fell by about 8,162 BTC, worth $664 million, over the past 24 hours. Martinez added the Coinbase Premium Index, which reflects relative buying demand from U.S. investors, had dropped to -0.17, close to its lowest level since September. Martinez said the more important signal would be the price direction formed in the 24 hours after the FOMC announcement rather than the immediate reaction.
